ONE YEAR of absence in the Asian Varsity Fencing Championships did not stop NTU’s fencers from putting up a credible performance this year, winning medals in all four events. Put ting off stiff competition from universities like Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and Hong Kong Institute of Education, the team bagged one gold, one silver and two bronzes in total at the competition, held at Singapore Management University (SMU) on July 23rd and 24th this year.
